This month, we’re celebrating Marketing & Business Development Co-ordinator Mark Read, who marks 20 years with us.
We spoke to Mark about his time at R K Henshall:
Mark joined R K Henshall in 2006 and celebrates 20 years with us this month.
He’s part of our Marketing team and leads our presence at business shows and networking events.
Over the years, Mark has taken part in several charity events with us – from a fire walk at Sandbach RUFC in support of AMMF to a staff triathlon in 2024 for Lupus UK, a charity we continue to support.
What’s been your favourite part of your 20 years with R K Henshall?
“I’ve really enjoyed building connections with the local community over the years. From local sports teams and charities to other local businesses, we have really invested in supporting Sandbach and the surrounding areas. We sponsor an annual match at Sandbach RUFC, where I played myself for many years. I have also been involved with local charity Supported Community Business, with whom we have a great relationship. We completed a corporate volunteering day just before Christmas, helping to decorate their new premises.”
